What is the correct needle to use for the fabric I am using?

DIFFERENT NEEDLE TYPES

Universal	This type of needle is used for a variety of fabrics including woven fabrics.
Ball Point	Ball Point needles are specially designed to be used with knit fabrics, the tips of this needle is rounded, allowing the needle to pass between the fabric threads and separate them.
